SWIR Lights

Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) refers to the wavelength range between 900 and 2500 nm - beyond the spectrum visible to the human eye. The advantage over the visible spectrum is the different reflection or absorption behaviour of many materials. LUMIMAX® offers the powerful High Performance Area Lights of the LQHP40 series with innovative SWIR LED technology. All other standard geometries can also be adapted on request. 9 different wavelengths between 980 nm and 1600 nm can be selected, so that the right wavelength is available for every application. The use of efficient LED technology instead of the previously common halogen lamps makes it particularly easy to use in temperature-sensitive applications, for example in the food sector.

Compact SWIR Flood Lights

Compact SWIR Flood Lights
  • High Performance Area Flood Light
  • Light Area 40 mm x 40 mm
  • 9 wavelengths from 980 nm to 1600 nm
Principle – Area Flood Light
  • Reflected light (partial bright field)
  • Area Flood Lights are used to direct light onto the test object at a slight angle
  • Interchangeable Lens Kits with diverse beam angles allow for the illumination of large test areas as well as intense light at extended distances (2 m and more)
  • Area of application: assembly, type and position detection, presence verification and completeness monitoring, fluorescence applications, OCR/OCV
